Throughout my life I have been fortunate to have traveled and lived experiences around the world meeting people of many different backgrounds and cultures. For me, some of my fondest memories are growing up in Pembroke, MA in the 70s playing hockey and skating on the backyard rink that my father built. Through his example, I came to understand the importance of setting goals, working hard consistently and the value of personal achievement. The incredible performance by Team USA at the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics inspired me to set out on my own quest for Olympic excellence at the age of twelve. Eight years and thousands of hours of preparation, training and competing later, I represented the U.S. in the 1988 Calgary Olympics. I went on to compete in three more Olympic Games in the sport of Speedskating, earning two Silver medals, a World Championship and was nominated as the Flag bearer in 1998, my last games, held in Nagano Japan.
As Managing Director of Estate Planners of New England I have brought with me over 18 years of experience as a Financial Planner and Investment Advisor. I am incredibly grateful to have been able to build a lifelong career that could meaningfully impact peoples lives for the better. By drawing on my insights from years ago as a business owner, a public speaker, and a world class athlete this has enabled me to fulfill my own personal journey. Finally a huge milestone was reached with the opportunity to merge my client community with EPNE and have the ability to focus efforts with my clients in my own Independent advisory office. There is no achievement now in my career that exceeds working with my clients to realize their own financial goals and dreams to become a reality by setting a plan into motion.
I am passionate and feel most fulfilled by providing my services and sharing in the positive results that we achieve.
